Water Polo Australia has announced the teams for both the upcoming World Aquatics Women’s U18 Water Polo Championships and the New Zealand tour scheduled for later this year.

The Women’s U18 World Championships will be held in China, from September 15-23 with 20 teams from across the world, and 15 of Australia’s best young players primed to represent their country on the world stage.

Meanwhile, the New Zealand Tour, slated for July, offers an excellent avenue for the selected squad to further hone their skills. They will engage in matches against 21&U teams at the New Zealand Nationals and compete against the 19&U New Zealand National squad.

We extend our congratulations to all the chosen players, with special recognition to our Richmond athletes. Jemma Potts will travel with World Championship Team and to Alice Hockings, who will be joining the New Zealand Tour.

This presents an incredible opportunity for them, and we have full confidence that they will embrace the challenges and extract invaluable development from these remarkable experiences.
