Week 2 of the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships has wrapped and our U16 Boys and Girls had a great week playing against some of the best clubs in the country.

The boys finished 3rd in the Challenge Cup competition, a terrific result. Their improvement across the week was evident and they take away a lot of confidence from their experience in Perth. A big thank you to coach Spindles and managers Bill and Stacey for keeping the team fed, organised and match ready.

The girls finished 8th having some wins and losses but taking away a huge amount of match experience. They come away keener than ever to keep training and be stronger as a team. Many thanks to coach Robyn and manager Nicole for guiding the girls.

Richmond sent 4 teams to AYWPC2023, our most ever. We could not be prouder of how they represented us.
