A big congratulations to our U17 Boys and Girls who competed over the weekend at the Canberra Cup. Being their first competition for the season they performed exceptionally well and loved every minute of being back in the pool.
A big thank you to the parents and coaches involved in getting the teams to the ACT. Thank you also to Water Polo ACT and KAP7 for putting on a great tournament. We look forward to coming back next year bigger and better.

U17 Boys Tournament Report

Canberra Cup 2021 was an absolute hoot for the 17’s Boys team. Coaches, Joel and Mitch were superb.

Boys played lots, ate lots and laughed lots.

In the first round, boys easily won their first game against Canberra, came so close to overcoming Hunter Hurricanes, (5-7) which went down to the last 30 seconds. In the finals games, two close matches were unfortunately lost - final placing ,12th in the competition.

Do it all again? Hell yeah!

U17 Girls Tournament Report

Our Richmond girls combined with players from Essendon and NYP to send an u17 team to Canberra Cup. It was the first time they had played together as a team.  The girls are to be commended for their sportsmanship and hard work against some strong NSW opponents. They finished 9th with 3 wins and 2 losses.  A big thank you to Coach Izzy and Manager Jodie for supporting the girls throughout the tournament.
