RICHMOND WATER POLO CLUB

Richmond Water Polo Club was established in 1921 and has a proud tradition of supporting and facilitating Water Polo in Victoria. With over 150 playing members, Richmond has teams across all junior grades in both boys and girls divisions and numerous teams across multiple divisions in the Women’s and Men’s State League Competition.
Over the past ten years there has been a significant emphasis on the development of younger players. The club has one of the most successful junior programs in Victoria, as shown by the number of teams supported at this level. In addition to teams playing within the the Water Polo Victoria Competition, we also run junior academies and training camps throughout the year.
OUR MISSION
Our aim is to develop members to be the best water polo players that they want to be, who play at the highest competitive level that they can while having fun and maintaining a life-long desire to play the sport.
Our members are respectful of their team mates, opposition and officials.
We strive to build a club that is welcoming, supportive and successful.

Whether it's mastering a new skill, improving swim times or contributing to a team victory, we believe that individual success is at the core of our collective achievements.

Fun is an integral part of our club's philosophy. Water Polo can be much more than just a match played each week; it can be a source of laughter, friendship and lifelong memories. We believe that having fun both on and away from pool deck is essential to creating a fulfilling Water Polo experience for our members.
