AYC WEEK 1

Our U14 Boys and U18 Girls had a fantastic week in Perth competing at the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships.

The campaign kicked off with scratch matches — thank you to @uwawp for hosting and helping our teams get into the swing of things. We really appreciated the warm-up opportunity.

Under Simon’s guidance, our U14 Boys took on the challenges of a large-scale tournament with back-to-back matches and came away with valuable experience. For many, it was their first AYC campaign, and it’s sure to leave a lasting impact on both their development and love for the game.

Our U18 Girls held their own against some of the top teams in the country. With Rob and Spindles at the helm, the team showed clear improvement throughout the week, finishing strong with a gritty win to claim 11th place.

Both teams had some close encounters with the Aussie Sharks and loved watching them take on NZ in the World Championships Oceania Qualifier. Truely inspiring 💛💚

A big thank you to @melbournecollegians and @rivercitywaterpolo for welcoming our U14 Girls into your teams — your support and hospitality were greatly appreciated.

And finally, a huge thanks to our team managers for keeping everything on track across a big week of competition.

The action continues with our U16 Boys & Girls taking to the pool this week. Stay tuned for updates.
