RICHMOND JUNIORS REPRESENT VIC

While some families were taking a well deserved break over the school holidays some of our Richmond juniors were representing Victoria at the 14&U East Coast Challenge and the U13 Development Carnival in Hobart.

The East Coast Challenge hosted by WPV and held at MSAC showcased some of the best of Australia’s Water Polo talent. Teams from Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania and the ACT joined us here in Melbourne for a fantastic 3 days of Water Polo.

Our Richmond juniors gained some valuable tournament experience ahead of the U15 National State Championships which will be held in September in Canberra (girls) and Sydney (boys).

Last weekend some of our U13 players travelled to Hobart to represent Victoria at the inaugural U13 Development Carnival. Teams from around Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania and the ACT played over 4 days giving our youngest players an excellent opportunity to gain tournament experience.

We are so proud of our Juniors who continue take every opportunity to improve train hard, improve their skills and compete at the highest levels.
