Winter Water Polo Season

Water Polo Victoria have announced details of the up-coming Winter Season. Richmond Water Polo Club will be entering teams into all categories dependent on numbers. Members are asked to confirm with their managers their interest in returning.

Competition Season: Week of Monday 10th May 2021, with a two week break for School Holidays between 26thJune and 11th July, resuming Week starting Monday 12 July ending August 2021. 

Composite Teams: Where clubs have additional players, please let us know, as we would like to encourage composite teams to increase the total number of teams entered.

12U and 14U competition: We are looking to see how many clubs have teams to enter. These age groups are dependent on team entries received. 

Mens SL5-7: Mixed gender teams will be considered in these divisions and need to be submitted at the time of entry. 

Finals: A full finals series (with semi-finals, prelim finals and grand finals) will be played similar to previous State Championships. Finals will take place during the last three rounds.  

Exemption Requests: Will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and need to be submitted at time of entry or no later than 2 weeks prior to permitted play.
