Dear XXXX Team,
I am writing to you on behalf of all members of the Richmond Water Polo Club, seeking your support for the upcoming Victorian 2023/24 seasons.
Club History & Today
The Richmond Water Polo Club was established in 1921 and has a proud history of supporting the growth of Water Polo in Victoria with over 220 playing members. Our players include junior girls and boys teams in all divisions through to Women’s and Men’s State League Competition. Our club is fortunate to include past Olympians, wonderful families and volunteers from senior players through to youth coaches or parents.
We are dedicated to promoting health, wellness, inclusion and teamwork with a strong commitment to welcoming new players to the sport. We support anyone who wants to join or experience Water Polo for the first time with regular Come Try events.
Presently our 220+ members include junior girls and boys teams in all divisions through to Women’s and Men’s State League Competition.
84 new members last Summer season,
96 members have been with us for 4 or more seasons,
44% members female and growing, 56% male,
Average age is 26 (we have some older players – lifelong players and beginners).
Tigers Are Everywhere
Richmond Water Polo Club training is weekly at Caulfield Grammar and games are held across Melbourne’s premier aquatics facilities including;
Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre,
Caulfield Grammar,
Melbourne Girls Grammar,
Melbourne High,
Camberwell Grammar.
Throughout the year teams represent Richmond Water Polo Club at major tournaments in Geelong, Canberra and at the State Championships which was held this year in Perth.

Autumn/Winter 2023 & Summer 2024 Season Sponsorship Packages
We have designed 4 packages to choose from that best meet your objectives. All funds are used to provide support for purchasing player’s game equipment, supporting development of our holiday training programs, coaching, administration, insurances, and fee relief for members facing financial hardship.
All sponsors are highly valued and we are very thankful for your support. Major sponsors commit to a significant investment which we will work hard to ensure you feel part of our club and gain strong member engagement.
Our Youth Sponsors support is a significant contribution to attracting and retaining players under 16 years of age or as a Community Sponsor you’re helping players who need financial assistance to remain active members of Richmond Water Polo Club.
Family Sponsorship Packages are for the generous members who donate each season. Donations may also be made anonymously.
